Hungarian Awarded At National Geographic Photo Contest 2013
Hungarian nature photographer Réka Zsirmon has won an Honorable Mention in the nature category at the National Geographic Photo Contest 2013 for her image entitled Flying Egrets. The main prize went to Paul Souders’ image Ice Bear at the awards ceremony in Washington at the end of last week.

National Geographic, which was founded 125 years ago, invited photos at the contest in three categories: people, places and nature. A total of more than 7,000 images were submitted from over 150 countries for the prestigious contest.
