Parliament supported Budapest’s bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics on Monday with the support of governing party and Jobbik politicians, with the exception of Fidesz MP János Bencsik. Under the resolution, an Olympic bid committee will be set up with 24 members, all designated by the Speaker of the House.
