"On Thursday May 13, the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Budapest, Hungary, will celebrate 15 years of providing training to mid-level law enforcement officers from Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Over the past 15 years, ILEA has provided training to approximately 15,000 police officers from these regions.

"In January, the Dutch Embassy became the first embassy in Hungary to go Fair Trade. The embassy just placed their first order of Treehugger Dan's Fair Trade Kafequo coffee (55% arabica/45% robusta). The beans come from Peru and Tanzania, and are mixed and roasted by Caffe Agust in Italy. This move was quickly followed by the Gambian Embassy.

"Hungary's manufacturing purchasing manager index (PMI) dropped 2.8 percentage points to 51.6 points in April 2010, the Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management (HALPIM) reported on Monday. This was the second month in a row when Hungary’s PMI dropped after rising to a 20-month high in February (55.9).

"Hungary has fully opened its airspace shortly before 11:00 CET on Tuesday. Based on information provided by the National Meteorology Service (OMSZ), air traffic control agency Hungarocontrol re-introduced restrictions in Hungarian airspace at dawn due to volcanic ash drifting over the country from an Icelandic eruption.

"Hungarian airspace has been opened at noon on Monday, local air navigation services Hungarocontrol has announced on Monday. Earlier in the day it has cleared only overflight traffic above 7,500 metres (24,000 feet). With no flight restrictions in effect the Ferihegy Airport is also open for the air traffic.
