Conservative pundits as well as a group of left- liberal constitutional lawyers say that Mr. Kövér had no undemocratic intentions, and agree that the current legislative practice is far too bureaucratic.

The 16th annual Hungarian Jewish Summer Festival is currently being held in Budapest between 25 August and 2 September and offers various programs introducing Jewish culture. The festival is the largest of its kind in Europe and this year the Prime Minister’s Office is sponsoring the event with 58 million forints.

With a few steps into another world, we had ‘Thai Days’ in the Central Market Hall. After the ‘Egyptian Days’, we could dive into the Thai atmosphere with some of the finest products and decorations from Thailand with which the Market Hall welcomed its visitors. This was another very interesting event as part of the 'Tourism Days' to show visitors a different part of the world.
