Austrian officials will work with Hungary on the issue of illegal “pocket contracts” on the sale of farmland, Regional Development Ministry state secretary Gyula Budai revealed on Wednesday. The lone exception was Regional Development Minister Sándor Fazekas, who is abroad. Other nominations are possible by 8 a.m. Friday, but none are expected. Parliament will elect the new president at 10 a.m. on May 2.
