It’s the Christmas fair at BISB, where visitors could find lots of tempting Christmas goodies. As well as games and raffle prizes there was also the opportunity for photographs with Santa and Olfa.

The 20th such Mexican style street party in downtown Budapest is Europe’s largest Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Starting at 3 pm on 6 May it will, as always, go on until late, and feature live bands, a street barbecue, outdoor bars and a kids’ corner.

This year’s annual XpatLoop birthday bash in the Corinthia’s Grand Ballroom will be supporting UNICEF Hungary, Lions Club of Budapest and the local Csodalámpa (Magic Lamp) Foundation, which since 2003 has acted on more than 2686 wishes by 3- to 18-year-old Hungarian children who have life-threatening illnesses.
