'Downtown Festival' In Budapest This Weekend

The annual Belvárosi Festival is being held between 26 – 28 May, for the 11th time in 2017, all around downtown districts Belváros - Lipótváros. Entry to all concerts is free of charge, sounds range from pop to electric to world music, performances areas include Szabadság tér, Erzsébet tér, Zrínyi utca, Szervita tér - read on for the full program.

The festival takes place between 27 June - 1 July with an excellent family atmosphere and a great line-up, right at the Austrian border. Telekom VOLT festival is an event with great traditions, celebrating its 25th edition in 2017.

The patron of the 21st Csángó Festival is Dr. János Áder, the President of Hungary. This is the Budapest festival for Csángó Hungarians, and the event has international connections as The Pro Minoritate Foundation and the Csángó Cultural Association of Moldva are involved with organising this uniquely colourful and entertaining festival at Millenáris Park on Saturday, 18th February at 19.00.
