The Indian Embassy in Budapest told XpatLoop.com they heartily invite all dance lovers to the performances of a Padmashree award winning dancer Pratibha Prahlad. The artist is performing around Hungary with her 13-member group between 11-16 February, and will dance in Budapest at the Central European University on Monday. Entry is free, but registration is needed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay another state visit to Budapest in February, government sources and Russian diplomatic operatives have confirmed to news daily Magyar Nemzet. The visit comes one year after Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Putin in Moscow, and two years after Putin’s first visit to Budapest in February 2015.

This is the first showcase festival in Hungary which is focusing specifically on the area, namely the Eastern European artists: the Budapest Showcase Hub (BUSH) has the goal to bring together the music industry of the neighbour countries, from the V4, through the Baltic States till the Balkans.
