IT firm Getronics asked state motorway manager AAK for more time instead of signing the contract on creating an electronic road toll system as scheduled, Nepszabadsag reports. Getronics, winner of the relevant tender last month, suggested an end of January date for the signing ceremony.

Getronics has won the electronic road toll tender with its Ft 34.98 billion bid, state motorway manager ÁAK announced on Saturday. The contract will probably be signed on December 27, with construction to start in early spring, and the system should be ready by July 1, 2013, ÁAK added.
