Nyugati train station was closed for 30 minutes on Saturday after a cleaner found a suspicious package on a train. Bomb disposal experts examined the package and found a ticking alarm clock and a piece of paper with the word “Boom” written on it. The station had to be closed temporarily but was re-operated shortly after 2 p.m. Police are launching criminal proceedings.

In the first quarter, retail sales were up 16% year-on-year at Ft 30 billion. Tesco posted an annual 85% rise in online sales between March and May.
