These are all fine choices for a visit, but you may be the type of person – like us – that prefers to learn about the weird and wonderful in a new city. If that’s the case, here are some unusual museums and exhibits that can be found in Budapest:
National Gallop, Heroes Square, 16 - 18 September

The biggest equestrian festival in Hungary is arranged every year in Budapest at the majestic Heroes Square. The first National Gallop was held in 2008, and since then became a very popular event filled with Hungarian culture, featuring action filled horse races.
Police Clash With Waves Of Protesters In City Park

A series of protests and clashes with police culminated with a gathering of 2,000 people who rallied Wednesday evening to protest against the construction of a Museum Quarter in Budapest’s City Park. Police cut the chains of protesters who had chained themselves to buildings and trees. Police also found evidence of marijuana use and launched criminal proceedings.
