Hungary and Germany have close economic cooperation and Germany “serves as a compass for Hungary in particular in foreign policy matters”, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in an interview with Germany daily Die Welt. The week-long Sziget Festival in Budapest attracted a record number of over 490,000 visitors this year, main organiser Károly Gerendai said on Tuesday, the event’s closing day. Final figures are not yet available but the number of visitors far exceeded last year’s record of 441,000, he added.
