Lawyer Gábor Magyar will seek compensation at the European Court of Human Rights for Blikk reporter Klaudia Csikós, whose phone was illegally tapped, he told Népszabadság. Police tapped her phone for three days based on claims lacking any foundations just to get to know her list of phone calls and map out her contacts, he claimed.

Annual May Museums’ Festival features 120 Hungarian museums which will bring along presentations about their museums to the courtyard of the National Hungarian Museum for two days. Many of museums’ presentation run free workshops or “feel and touch” exhibitions. The one of Military museum is an absolute hit every year not only among youngsters but among adults as well.

Folk is a deep well nourishing several other genres; it is immensely rich, personal, simple and tolerant. We do not wish to define this genre, nether do we aim to tell what belongs under the notion of “folk”. We are just glad for having been able to offer a chance every spring since 2010 for everyone to have their own choice from a rich inventory of music.

The talented Hungarian tennis player beat the iconic Venus Williams in the second round of the Rome Masters. Despite the fact that Timi lost the first set, she was able to come back and win the second and third set. This is a huge achievement for the Hungarian player.

Not all expats know about the opportunity to enjoy a day or two at the races most weekends, as Kincsem Park hosts harness racing on the Saturday and flat racing on the Sunday.
