Celebrations for Artist Vasarely's 120th Anniversary Now on in Pécs Until 22 March

On the Day of Hungarian Culture (22 January), the Janus Pannonius Museum (JPM) in Pécs launched the “Vasarely 2026 – Pécs” jubilee season. The programme marks two milestones: the 120th anniversary of the birth of Victor Vasarely and the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Vasarely Museum in Pécs.

The Cered Art Colony, which is 30 years old this year, will celebrate with what they call an ArtPiknik on August 9th.
