A new United Nations University institute is set to open in Kőszeg, western Hungary, hosted by the Institute of Advanced Studies Kőszeg (iASK). Culture and Innovation Minister Balázs Hankó announced this on Facebook on February 24, 2026, following a host country agreement signed in late 2025 between Hungary and the UNU.
