‘Finnish Restaurant Day’ Returns On 12 May

This relatively new 'Restaurant Day' initiative organised by the Finnish Embassy and Finnagora has already become something of a tradition in Hungary. In 2018 the event profile has been updated and instead of traditional food the organisers will be serving up contemporary Finnish cuisine in the Hungarian capital.

Consumer prices were 2.0% higher on average in March 2018 than a year earlier, up slightly from a 1.9% year-on-year increase in February. The highest price increases were measured for alcoholic beverages, tobacco and food, according to a first release of monthly data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday.
