The family event series that started in June 2012 with the support of the European Union and the New Szechenyi Plan has introduced new dates to their tour starting in Nyíregyháza 22 Sept 2012 and Tatabánya 29 Sept 2012, while the closing event will be hosted by the city of Győr 13 Oct 2012.

The commercial television station RTL Klub will launch a second channel with entertainment programs, RTL II, on October 1 in a bid to further increase its viewers and profits, Nepszabadsag reports. A nationwide campaign to promote the new channel has been launched, and a detailed programme will be made public in the middle of September.

Having a free Sunday morning on my hands, a friend and I visited the Szimplakert Haztaji Market. The great ambiance was still there. Almost every seller had samples out to try, whether it be szorp, jam, baked goods, spreads or cheese. All the sellers were friendly, chatty, and proud of their products.
