Brand new tram lines are going to connect parts of Buda, effectively reducing carbon emissions in the city. Instead of taking the bus, 30,000 passengers per day will use the tram travelling between North and South Buda along the Danube. The 43-million-euro project is financed by the Hungarian government along with the European Union.
