Budapest’s Half Marathon Renamed To Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced the new title sponsorship of the Budapest Half Marathon in partnership with the Budapest Sport Office (BSI). It is the first time in 18 years that the Budapest Half Marathon has changed its name. It will be held on 14 September as the 29th Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon.
Balaton Sound Festival Hungary: Early Bird Tickets Almost Sold Out

MasterCard Balaton Sound organizers announced that 98% of the early bird passes have been already sold. Tickets are selling with a record speed this year, so the discounted sales period will end this week. Afterwards only full-priced passes and day tickets will be available, also in a limited number. Hungarians kept a record amount of cash at the end of last year, which analysts say is likely to be linked to the avoidance of the bank transaction fee and other types of tax, business daily Világgazdaság said. According to preliminary data from the central bank of Hungary, cash holdings came to 2.6 trillion forints (EUR 8.4bn) at the end of 2013, up 11% on 2012.
