Budapest and the northwest regions are head and shoulders above the rest, in particular the northeast and the disadvantaged areas along the Dráva River in the southwest corner of the country.

Illegal Cigarette Sales In Hungary Top 12%

The black market for cigarettes in Hungary has grown to 12.1% of total sales, market research company GfK Hungária said. A little more than a year ago, GfK Hungária said illegal sales of cigarettes accounted for 7.7% of total turnover. In its latest release, the market researcher said the rate had reached 11.8% by the end of last year, but noted there had been “restructuring” on the market.

The title of the exhibition (Was auch der Fall ist) comes from the second half of the first proposition in Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus,, broadening its meaning towards what exists beyond what exists, and also referring to the artist’s preceding exhibition of the same name.

Premature birth has become a common problem in Hungary next to high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes, business daily Világgazdaság said citing a study, which also added that Roma women were in the highest risk category. The study was prepared by researchers from the Budapest Semmelweis University analysing data about 18,000 births in four counties of northeast Hungary between 2009 and 2012.
