The list of banned psychoactive drugs has been expanded with a 13 new items. Electronic cigarettes were grouped under ordinary cigarette regulations. As a result only licensed tobacco shops, the so-called kiosks, may sell them in the future. The law on air traffic was also modified authorising the police to levy fines for the illegal use of drones.

Hungarian food safety authority Nébih has ordered all poultry in the near vicinity of avian influenza outbreaks in Bugac and Kiskunmajsa, in southeastern Hungary, to be culled. Nébih ordered the cull in a 1km radius around the outbreak sites after discovering the virus in poultry near Kiskunmajsa.
