By the end of last year, Hungary’s Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) had sold 430 special government bonds that accelerate applications for permanent residency in the country by foreign nationals, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Tuesday.

More than 25% of ordinary crimes registered last year were committed in Budapest, as reported crime in the city rose by 10%, the Prosecutor’s Office revealed. Budapest’s Fifth and Sixth districts were the most crime-infested areas in 2012, while the 16th District was the safest in the city.
