To kick off the series of Burns celebrations in Budapest this year the British Ambassador brought together a friendly group of expats and locals at his home for a private Burns supper. It’s always a pleasure to make merry at this special Scottish night dedicated to the great bard Rabbie Burns.

British Annual Remembrance Ceremony In Solymár, 12 November

This traditional service and wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Solymár on Sunday 12 Nov at 10:55. Everybody is welcome to attend the ecumenical service, and those who do are kindly requested to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Iconic six-time world champion cueist Steve Davis will match his skills against two-time world champion Welshman, Mark Williams. The official referee for the exhibition will be the famous Michaela Tabb.
