With temperatures plummeting to nearly -20°C, local staff and expat customers of this Scottish pub have been donating ingredients and time to make hundreds of litres of soup for the homeless in Budapest.

It's that time of the year when people around the world come together to toast the memory of Scotland’s most celebrated poet: Robert Burns was born on the 25th of January 1759, and he is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and his birthday is celebrated worldwide.

The Robert Burns International Foundation looks forward to welcoming its guests again to the Grand Ballroom for a night of good food, fine wine and whisky, and an opportunity to try out some Scottish dancing!

Whisky is becoming more and more popular, appealing to a wider audience, as well as to connoisseurs. So it was no surprise that the 6th Whisky Show held in the beautiful Corinthia Hotel was thriving. It was a fitting location for an international drink and the audience to go with it.
