The special meeting of two unique Hungarian instruments, the tárogató and the cimbalom, is the focus of the joint concert by Zoltán Erdő, Jenő Lisztes and Anima Musicae, which will be held at the Pesti Vigadó to mark the occasion of World Music Day.

The annual Bonfire Night celebration in Budapest proved to be an epic event, again! It was a very international affair, as usual, uniting a multitude of nationalities - including senior diplomats from the British, Canadian, U.S. and other embassies.

Since the 1980s, the ecumenical Worldwide Community for Christian Meditation has nevertheless attempted to reintroduce Christian groups to the spiritual benefits of meditation.

Gábor Czene of Népszabadság conducted an interview with Tamás Fabiny, bishop of the northern district of the Hungarian Lutheran Church. Fabiny was ordained in Erlangen, Germany in 1982. He also studied in the United States. In addition to his church activities he worked for Duna TV. Since 2010 he has been the vice chairman of the Lutheran World Federation.
