Debrecen Summer University has opened for its 91st year, with 183 students from 37 countries attending with the purpose of studying Hungarian as a foreign language and learning about Hungarian culture and history.

The government on Monday submitted a bill on highlighted developments in Budapest. The bill defines how the state will be involved in major developments in Budapest, including a new Student City.

Mr. Nguyen grew up in Ha Noi, Vietnam in complicated times. After his high school graduation he had the opportunity to study in Budapest, the city he has been living in now for more than 30 years.

The now each year very expected European Art of Garden exhibition and sale organized by the Joseph Karolyi Fondation in the Károlyi stately home park in Fehérvárcsurgó will take place on June 1 to 3rd with Austria, Bulgaria and France as guest of honour countries whose representative lecturers will speak on the opening day in presence of their respective Ambassadors.

In 2015 and 2017, Patrick won a translation grant from the Milán Füst foundation to support his work translating plays by Milán Füst (Boldogtalanok) and Sándor Bródy (A dada). He plans to continue his work as a literary translator and dreams of producing an anthology of classic Hungarian plays in his own English translations.

On until 8 April 2018. The new exhibition at the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts, titled Sanghay – Shanghai. Parallel Diversities between East and West, links the emblematic oriental metropolis of Shanghai with the Sanghay Bar in Budapest, a perfect encapsulation of the contradictory image of the East that prevailed in Hungary between the wars.
