The 26th annual Bálványos Summer University opened in Băile Tușnad (Tusnádfürdő), in Szeklerland, central Romania, on Wednesday. The ideas discussed at the summer university over the years laid the foundations for the most significant achievements in Hungary’s policy for Hungarian communities abroad, State Secretary Árpád János Potápi said in his opening address.

By Christian Keszthelyi: Microsoft said yesterday that it is offering free upgrades to Windows 10 for all Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, even for those who currently use pirated versions of the operating system, international news agency Reuters reported. Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 10 is expected to become available for free in Hungary as of this summer.
First New CAF Tram On Its Way To Budapest

The first new CAF tram to serve the capital’s public transport users soon is on its way to the Hungarian capital on the back of two freight trailers. 47 Spanish-made CAF trams will form part of Budapest’s new fleet, including longer and shorter models.
