Annual May Museums’ Festival features 120 Hungarian museums which will bring along presentations about their museums to the courtyard of the National Hungarian Museum for two days. Many of museums’ presentation run free workshops or “feel and touch” exhibitions. The one of Military museum is an absolute hit every year not only among youngsters but among adults as well.

Folk is a deep well nourishing several other genres; it is immensely rich, personal, simple and tolerant. We do not wish to define this genre, nether do we aim to tell what belongs under the notion of “folk”. We are just glad for having been able to offer a chance every spring since 2010 for everyone to have their own choice from a rich inventory of music.

One of the largest concert hall organs on the European continent, which has since become famous around the world, was inaugurated on 22 May 2006. It was built by German firm Mühleisen Orgelbau GmbH and Pécsi Orgonaépítő Manufaktúra from Hungary.

The first open air WAMP design fair this year is eagerly awaited, as after the long grey winter days everyone is waiting for going outdoor and get a bit of sunshine. Our fair in April was blown away by the weather, but now you will have the chance to take back the city and to meet your favourite designers open air at Erzsébet square, the busiest part of downtown Budapest.

Balaton Sound is happy to announce more names in the already prestigious line-up. The 5 days festival organized on the beach of Lake Balaton will celebrate its 10th edition this year featuring the biggest electronic and hiphop names. This time Chris Brown, Steve Aoki, Deorro, Ellen Allien and many more have been added to the program. Balaton Sound is held in Zamárdi between 6-10 July.
