Supermarket chains operating in Hungary expect a growth in revenues from wine sales of 5-7% this year. According to statistics, Hungarians prefer local quality wines rather than imported ones, business daily Világgazdaság reported.

What better way to kick off the weekend than a few drams of the golden stuff? Last Friday evening a fine array of the city’s gentry gathered together for a pre-Whisky Show taster, with some lovely gin thrown in for good measure.

This annual festival featuring 250 types of spiced up meat will be held at the Hungarian Railway Museum this year. As well as lots of porky specials available along several 'Sausage Streets', there will be family programs, folklore shows, 'nostalgic music programs' and dance, plus apparently presentations of enormous sausages, during this three day special Hungarian gastro event.

Written by Mr. Yuzu. As the name would suggest, it’s a Mexican place. Although I didn’t see any mezcal on the menu. But let that be the only problem with this restaurant. Did I say restaurant? Sorry. My bad. I meant to say sh*thole!

This place looks pretty dang good! I love brass things, and this place has plenty. The lights are mostly brass with some wood and leather accents. I love it. The only thing I didn’t quite like are the counters, it kind of looks like mozzarella pieces in red dirt, but whatever, the place looks great. The wait staff is super nice as well without being cheesy. However, those are the only good things ...
