Szijjártó: Italy Bus Crash Not Caused By Technical Problem

The recent bus crash near Verona in which 16 Hungarians died does not appear to have been caused by a technical problem, the Hungarian foreign minister said. Péter Szijjártó added that the Italian police had not seen any tyre marks on the road at the site of last Friday’s accident, nor survivors had reported any unusual developments in the few minutes before the crash.

The government has decided to award non-refundable support worth just over 24 billion forints (EUR 78m) to 35 major domestic companies, Mihály Varga, the economy minister, told a news conference on Friday. The support will lead to developments worth 60 billion forints, creating 1,147 jobs in the country, Varga said.
