On 22 August the first aircraft of Sólyom Hungarian Airways a Boeing B 737-500 type aircraft with code HA-SHA has arrived to Budapest. The aircraft first „saluted” its new home arbase with a low-level flypast and then landed at Runway 31L of Budapest Airport.

The 16th Jewish Summer Festival opened at the National Gallery on Sunday afternoon, where Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Gauguin, Merse Szinyei, and Rippl-Rónai are on display. Some of the paintings are on loan from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

With a few steps into another world, we had ‘Thai Days’ in the Central Market Hall. After the ‘Egyptian Days’, we could dive into the Thai atmosphere with some of the finest products and decorations from Thailand with which the Market Hall welcomed its visitors. This was another very interesting event as part of the 'Tourism Days' to show visitors a different part of the world.
