It’s been a long time since I last posted a blog. Not because I’ve got lazy! But because I’ve been travelling so much lately. I’ve been away for large parts of three of the last four weeks. Each time for really good events, and each of which events were about the Central Europe region rather than just about Hungary. But they’ve taken up so much time! Let me tell you about the trips.

"We started this new project in January working with the expressions of the actor's body. We are searching how to speak about feelings without words, how to tell stories and how to create characters on the stage. During the evening you can get an insight into our work on physical theatre.

The world’s biggest Abba show is on a world tour again. In 2009 they gained so much interest in Hungary that the first show sold out in days, and another Budapest concert had to be booked. Thanks to that success 'Abba-The Show' will be back to Hungary in 2013 too. This time not only in Budapest but in Debrecen too.

American writer, poet and literary activist E. Ethelbert Miller visited Hungary from February 24 to March 1 as part of the Embassy’s commemoration of African American History Month. Miller traveled around the country sharing his poems and discussing the influence African American history on his work.

The Ambassador visited Nyíregyháza with Minister Balog to view government programs supporting integration of the local Roma population. She also presented the Active Citizenship Award to HUMAN-NET.
Costes Budapest Wins 'Best Restaurant', Again

Costes has once more been awarded the accolade of 'Best Restaurant 2012' by the local Dining Guide publication. This is the second time the restaurant has won this prize, the most prestigious award in the Hungarian gastronomy scene. The prize was received by expat chef Miguel Viera Rocha, and Károly Gerendai the main owner of Costes.
