The biannual Kurultáj is a meeting of peoples of nomadic origin from the Central Asian steppe held to celebrate ancient Hungarian traditions.

Hungary’s Foreign Ministry has asked Hungarians to exercise caution if travelling to Turkey after the bombing in Istanbul which claimed 36 lives and injured nearly 150 on Tuesday. The consular services of the ministry issued a notice on Wednesday in which it suggests that tourists check their travel arrangements as many flights are cancelled.
