Unless the level of development of the country’s economy reaches the European average, the move could be detrimental, he said. Most respondents, 69%, agreed that Great Britain is leaving because the EU does not listen to the public on critical matters such as illegal immigration. One-fourth said the decision to leave the EU has another cause.
