Organisers are pleased to announce that after Munich, Paris, New York and Sydney the Oktoberfest in Budapest will be held for the second time in 2014 and will be located in a bigger and more easily accessible place in the heart of Budapest, in the City Park.

MOL Bubi, the public bike-sharing system that is a new mode of public transport in Budapest will be launched on Monday, 8 September 2014. Tickets will be available for purchase from Monday morning at the touch-screen terminals of major docking-stations and the MOL Bubi website, while passes go on sale at BKK’s customer service centres.

Saint Margaret’s Anglican Episcopal Church was founded in Hungary in 1992 by the Rev. Canon Denis Moss, a New Zealander with British roots married to a Hungarian. Canon Dennis retired in 2011, and the church has been under the leadership of Father Frank since then.

The ceremonial inauguration of the bust, commemorating the Kazak poet and composer Abai Kunanbaev, took place on 2nd June in the City Park. Deputy Mayor Miklós Csomós made a speech during the ceremony, in the frame of which a part of the Városligeti boulevard was named as Astana road.
