Number Of Last Week’s Flu Patients Highest In Ten Years

More than a hundred thousand Hungarians went to their doctors with flu-like symptoms in the past one week and this is the highest number registered over the past ten years. The increase in new patient numbers was 50 percent compared to the previous week, the national epidemiology centre (OEK) said on Wednesday.

The MNB has renewed its consumer protection website, the central bank announced on Monday. Priority was given to easy access to up-to-date information, and to raising consumer awareness. The MNB has also developed apps to support consumers’ decision making, based on a very comprehensive database.
