A hunting shop in Hungary has bought thousands of rocket-propelled weapons from the Hungarian armed forces, the opposition PM party’s spokesman said. Bence Tordai cited defence ministry contracts showing that in 2013 and 2014 the company bought 1,357 air launched rockets, 83 nose guns and 52 airborne rockets from the Hungarian army for 7.5 million forints (EUR 24,000).

The army is prepared to carry out new tasks defined in the amended defence law such as police tasks or adopting new strategies related to hybrid warfare, chief of staff Tibor Benkő said.
