As the result of a Hungarian initiative the Art Nouveau World Day has been celebrated since 2013, and is already part of the official programme of the international Art Nouveau organisation Réseau Art Nouveau Network. On this day, several institutions from all over the world join in a series of programmes presenting this characteristic architectural and decorative style of the turn of the century.
