This year, the world travel industry's most prestigious awards programme, the World Travel Awards, was held for the 28th time. Matild Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Budapest, opened in the heart of Budapest this summer, has won the category of "Hungary's Leading Hotel'' on 22nd October.

Madame Tussauds to Open in Budapest Next Year

A new Madame Tussauds will open in downtown Budapest in early 2022, according to a press release. Located near Vörösmarty square, the wax figure attraction will be the first full-scale franchise of the brand - with an entertainment area of about 2,000 sqm it will feature wax figures of famous people ranging from music legends to infamous world leaders.
