Hungarian author Anna Jókai, an Artist of the Nation, has died after a long illness, at the age of 84. Born in Budapest in 1932, Jókai graduated at Eötvös Lóránd University of Arts and Sciences as teacher of history and Hungarian literature. Nobel laureate Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk and the Visegrad Four group will be the guests of honour at the 24th International Book Festival in Budapest. Pamuk, who received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2006, will be interviewed during a podium discussion and he will be presented with the Budapest Grand Prix, the association of Hungarian publishers said.
