Mark your diary for Thursday 8 March, 7:00 pm, for the All Nations Lions Club (ANLC) traditional Charity Gala - which this year includes a very diverse and entertaining classical concert, with music from around the globe as well as a great catering. The Smiling Hospital Foundation invites you to the Grand Gala on Saturday 3 February, from 7 pm to midnight, at the Budapest Marriott Hotel. This annual Black Tie event features an impressive Live Auction, plus a Silent Auction and Raffle, live music and dance, and this year a 'Speed Painting Show', '3D Gallery Experience', and 'Interactive Painting Surprise'.

The St Andrew's Ball is now an established Scottish entry into the year’s social calendar - thanks to lots of hard work by the St Andrew's Association team, it's becoming a well-oiled machine. Held at the Budapest Marriott Hotel last Saturday, in the main ballroom this year, it was a 'full house' expat community event.

For some time now the St Andrews Ball has been gathering pace. Not so long ago only a handful gathered to celebrate Scotland’s national day. Now, thanks to some hard work and charm, Duncan Graham has gathered the masses together for another, hugely successful bash at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday.

Xpats are kindly invited to join the celebration of St. Andrew’s Day on Saturday the 26th of November 2016, the guest speaker will be HMA HE Mr Iain Lindsay OBE British Ambassador to Hungary. Registration and welcome drinks from 18.30 before welcoming speech at 19:00 and then a three course gala dinner accompanied by wine, beer and whisky.

When you get an invitation to the Italian Institute of Culture, you know you are in for a treat. The annual ‘All Nations Lions Club’ event did not disappoint. The blind pianist Tamás Érdi had played a selection of classics from Brahms, Bartok, Debussy, to Liszt. This was not just a fabulous evening in a fabulous building, but it had a purpose.

Under this emblematic title, DOWN Association has auctioned a collection of 30 paintings in KOGART House, on 21st November, 2012. It was a contemporary painting auction and gala dinner for charity, to support early intervention for children with Down Syndrome. One of the most important missions of the Association is the early integration of all disabled children among their healthy fellows.
