From April to May 2016, the Embassy of Canada in Budapest was home to a moving student-made art exhibit that creatively communicated the importance of human rights and the value of diversity. The exhibit, consisting of 10 art pieces and 3D installations, was the collective output of over 200 students, who participated in a project to promote tolerance and inclusion through media and education.

Two weeks ago I already wrote a post on the Orbán government’s reaction to the less than flattering remarks of Bill Clinton about Poland and Hungary, two countries that decided that “democracy is too much trouble [and] they want Putin-like leadership.”
Parliamentary Speaker: Europe Risks Falling Victim To ‘Physical Violence’

If Europe surrenders to “intellectual violence” it will eventually also fall victim to “physical violence”, Hungary’s parliamentary speaker said. Addressing a Hungarian-Bavarian conference in Budapest focusing on the European Union’s challenges, László Kövér said, the unchecked flow of illegal migrants into Europe was the sign of the impending physical aggression Europe could fall victim to.

However bizarre and unlikely this story, I think I should report on the two men who are currently in preventive custody in Hungary. The charge is espionage for the United States, the IMF, and the Swiss-Hungarian Grant.
