Székesfehérvár Ballet Theatre: 'Phantom Pain', National Dance Theatre Budapest, 15 September
This dance drama was written for the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon. The dance theatre work does not attempt to present the political history events.

The creators show through the fate, the struggle and the personal tragedy of everyday people how the life of separated families can be affected by politics, war and by the division of a wonderful country.

The dance drama entitled “Phantom pain” of the Székesfehérvári Balett Színház (Székesfehérvár Ballet Theatre) gives a poetic cross-section about the impact mechanism of the dramatic events through the powerful and expressive force of music, motion and dance and by focusing on the two love relationships.

The storm of the big “ocean” of history is shown through the individual person and depicts with the rich and expressive toolbox of the contemporary dance art how the stormy sea of history can break up smaller or larger “ships”.
