Contemporary Photography Exhibition, House of Lucie Budapest, 23 March
From the organisers: Contemporary photography lovers can soon immerse themselves in the world of breathtaking photographic works: the 2022 International Photography Awards winners are set to showcase their exceptional works in the heart of Budapest, Hungary.

Carefully selected from thousands of incredible entries from around the globe, the 26 category winners and the 30 images of the 'Best of Show' curated selection will be on display for contemporary art enthusiasts from Hungary, Europe, and beyond.

Visitors will be able to experience a diverse range of stunning visuals, from breathtaking nature and fine art photography to awe-inspiring architectural marvels, and thought-provoking fine art works that tell impactful stories. These works are captured through the lenses of both professional and amateur photographers, promising a truly unique and captivating experience for all. The sister gallery of House of Lucie Budapest, House of Lucie Kashan, will also be simultaneously open.

Best of Show Curator, Mark Sealy OBE Curator and Cultural Historian, shared his thoughts about the Best of Show selection: "One of the key things I wanted to achieve in bringing these images together was a sense of community. Curatorially I wanted to open up a conversation, to hold up a mirror that reflects the concerns of those bold enough to speak through images.

Through the spectrum of this selection of images, I wanted to generate within the viewer a condition of responsibility and action towards greater social justice and cultural equity. The photographs presented here are often taxing. They ask us to play a role in building better futures."

The exhibition will officially commence at the House of Lucie with the Opening Event on the 23rd of March, 2023 at 18:00 where some winners will also be joining to share their mutual love for photography and celebrate their wins in the field. In the coming weeks after the event, the exhibition will be open from 14:00-19:00 on Wednesdays to Saturdays at the House of Lucie Budapest Gallery
Place: House of Lucie Budapest
Address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa u. 30.
