On the occasion of the celebration of our State Foundation and King Saint Stephen, the founder of our state, on August 20, 2023, the military air parade, as the "zeroth" act, begins with a ceremonial flight of the JAS-39 Gripen squadron in honor of the inauguration of military officers, above Kossuth Square.

Following this, the squadron returns to the waiting airspace and prepares for the start of the program at 09:00.

In the approximately 30-minute first part of the military air parade, we can witness individual and formation low flyovers of aircraft types deployed in the Hungarian Defense Forces, between the Elizabeth Bridge and the Margaret Bridge, over the section of the Danube.

In the second part of the Air Parade, for about 20 minutes, we can see low flyovers of the WizzAir airline's A321 passenger aircraft, the Airbus A330 Neo belonging to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as the Embraer 120 and Cessna 206 Seaplane aircraft (2-3 pcs) of Aeroexpress Ltd.
