In the spirit of boundless solidarity, the Kokas Banda, formed in Tiszapéterfalva, Carpathian Ruthenia in 2006, will perform at our festival. This band, which has received prestigious professional awards, plays Hungarian folk music and, on this occasion, Jewish melodies as well. Their primary goal is to preserve, promote, and pass on our folk heritage. Their current concert repertoire covers the entire Hungarian folk music of the Carpathian Basin, and they also provide a taste of the music and dances of the multicultural peoples of Carpathian Ruthenia.

We recommend our dear audience to come in dancing shoes because Kokas Banda's concerts always end with exhilarating folk dances!
