Just as people take off their worn clothes and put on new ones, so does the soul give up old and useless bodies to accept new ones in their place." – quote from the Bhagavad Gita.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Yvette Bozsik Company presents its new production “Circulation” at the National Dance Theatre. During the rehearsal process, the dancers of the Company shaped their own role and presence together with the choreographer through self-discovery and common thinking.

The eternal cycle, or samsara, is repeated birth and death in the material world. Living beings wander in different bodies until their consciousness gets completely purified and they become fit to enter the path of pure love. They have no chance of liberation until they are slaves to illusion. They remain prisoners of samsara unless they seek happiness at the spiritual level. A self-realised person recognises the nature of their soul and can see the soul in all living beings. Once they begin to search for the source of everything, the way opens up to their true home, to the spiritual realm.

“Circle" presents in a spectacular and powerful way the human incarnation process and the three stages of life, from conception to death. It covers physical, spiritual and mental aspects as well as stages of development and transformation. And all this is done with the tools of dance art, to the music composed for the show by Philippe Heritier.
