Hungarian National Dance Ensemble: Dragons Tale, National Dance Theatre Budapest, 9 February
The Hungarian National Dance Ensemble invites children on another adventure. Following their long-held concept, the Zoltán Zsuráfszky and Zsuzsa Zs. Vincze duo (now involving two young choreographers) once again leads the audience into the unique world of Hungarian folk tales.

They have longbeen convinced that you can introduce the culture and traditions of the Hungarian people even to the youngest generation, especially if the piece is based on original folk tales and folk poetry texts and it is introduced to them in an age appropriate manner by using authentic folk music and folk dance.

This is how theirlatest performance for children, DRAGON TALE, was born.

In this tale theobjects that come to life during the wanderings of the three outlaws, the dancing donkey, the witch and the invincible-looking three-headed dragon, the nice woodland elf and the kindly Oriental king and the beautiful princess, and also the greedy innkeeper and his covetous daughters all take us back to those edifying times when, through hard struggle, brains and persistent hard work, goodness was finally rewarded.

We recommend this fun tale for young and old, because we believe that the old values are still important and valid for everyone.
Place: National Dance Theatre Budapest
Address: 1024 Budapest, Kis Rókus u. 16-20.
