This year, Ferencváros presents a fresh take on the holiday season with the launch of its official Advent Fair, uniting the district, the FMK Cultural Center, and Pancs – gasztroplacc for the first time.

Known for its strong local community spirit, Pancs has been hosting markets and neighbourhood events for over nine years, bringing together producers, makers, and visitors regularly.

Meanwhile, the FMK Cultural Center has played a vital role in supporting the district’s cultural life, fostering contemporary art and local groups dedicated to vibrant communities.

Together, this collaboration has created an Advent Fair that blends gastronomy, culture, and community experiences. Rather than a single continuous event, the fair will take place over four focused weekends (Friday to Sunday), allowing for rotating pop-up exhibitors and keeping the atmosphere dynamic and fresh.

Ferenc tér will transform into a lively festive space with food trucks, wooden market stalls, and a heated indoor pavilion offering creative workshops. Visitors can enjoy activities ranging from gingerbread decorating and fermentation sessions to crafts and culinary programmes.

The stage will host shows and events catering to families and adults throughout each weekend.

The market will feature Pancs’ renowned quality offerings, including Christmas-themed products, artisanal foods, local produce, handmade gifts, craft beers, jewellery, and accessories, alongside regular market favourites. This Advent Fair is designed as a full sensory experience — filled with lights, aromas, music, and community moments—inviting everyone to join in the festive spirit at Ferenc tér.
