Germans Rescued From Basilica Lift In Budapest
"A group of nine tourists from Konstanz, south Germany were rescued by fire-fighters after being trapped in the lift of Saint Stephen’s Basilica on Saturday evening.

The lift could not be winched up, so fire-fighters climbed down onto it on a ladder, sawed off its roof and rescued the tourists, several of whom had felt ill, and one of whom was subsequently hospitalised."
